1. Ownership of Platform Content
All content, features, and functionality on Globi Explore - including but not limited to:
- The platform name and logo
- Site design, layout, and visuals
- Original graphics, icons, text, video, and software
- Community posts, user interfaces, and platform code
- are the exclusive property of Globi Explore, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
2. Limited User License
Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Globi Explore for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit any part of the platform or its content unless expressly permitted by Globi Explore in writing.
3. Trademarks
"Globi Explore", our logos, slogans, and any brand elements associated with the platform are trademarks or service marks of Globi Explore, Inc.
You may not use our trademarks for advertising, promotional, or commercial purposes without prior written consent.
4. User-Generated Content
When you post or upload content to Globi Explore, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, promote, and use that content within the platform as part of our service.
You must not post content that infringes the rights of others. If we receive proper notice of infringement, we will remove the content and take appropriate action.
5. Copyright Complaints (DMCA Notice)
If you believe that any content on Globi Explore infringes your copyright, please notify us at [email protected].
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request
Include:
- Your name and contact info
- A description of the copyrighted work
- A link or description of the infringing content
- A statement that you believe, in good faith, the use is unauthorized
- Your signature (digital or physical)
We will investigate and respond promptly in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
6. Violations and Enforcement
Any unauthorized use of Globi Explore, Inc.'s intellectual property or attempts to copy the platform's core features, designs, or branding may result in:
- Account suspension
- Legal claims for damages
- Reporting to relevant authorities or registrars
7. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that content you posted on the Platform was removed in error or that you have the right to use the content in question, you may submit a counter-notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Counter-Notice Requirements
A valid counter-notification must include the following:
- Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Globi Explore, Inc. may be found)
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent
- Your physical or electronic signature
Submission
Counter-notifications should be sent to [email protected]with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice.”
Timeline
- Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Globi Explore, Inc. will forward it to the original complainant
- The original complainant has 10 business days to file a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement
- If no court action is filed within 10 business days, Globi Explore, Inc. will restore the removed content within 14 business days of receiving the counter-notification
- If a court action is filed, the content will remain removed pending the outcome of the proceedings
Please note that submitting a counter-notification with materially false information may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
8. Fair Use Guidelines
Globi Explore, Inc. recognizes that certain limited uses of copyrighted material may be permissible under the doctrine of fair use as defined in Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act. The following guidelines outline when users may reference or share Platform content without prior permission.
Permitted Uses
- Personal Reviews & Recommendations: Sharing brief excerpts of your own reviews or screenshots of your bookings on personal social media for the purpose of recommending or critiquing services you experienced.
- Academic & Research: Citing Platform content in academic papers, research publications, or educational presentations with proper attribution to Globi Explore, Inc.
- News Reporting: Journalists and media outlets may use limited screenshots or excerpts for news reporting purposes with proper attribution.
- Personal Archiving: Saving screenshots of your own bookings, itineraries, and communications for personal record-keeping purposes.
Prohibited Uses
- Reproducing substantial portions of Platform content for commercial purposes
- Using Platform content in competing products or services
- Creating derivative works from Platform content without written permission
- Distributing scraped or bulk-collected content from the Platform

9. Creative Commons Content
Certain content on the Platform may be designated as Creative Commons licensed by its original creator. When content carries a Creative Commons designation, users may use it in accordance with the specific license terms indicated.
How Creative Commons Works on the Platform
- Content creators may optionally designate their user-generated content (photos, reviews, travel guides) with a Creative Commons license
- The specific Creative Commons license type (e.g., CC BY, CC BY-NC, CC BY-SA) will be clearly displayed alongside the content
- Users must comply with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license, including attribution requirements
- If no Creative Commons designation is present, the content is protected under the standard terms described in Section 4 (User-Generated Content) of this policy
Platform Content
Content owned by Globi Explore, Inc. (including logos, branding, proprietary graphics, and platform design elements) is NOT available under Creative Commons licensing and remains the exclusive intellectual property of Globi Explore, Inc. as described in Section 1.
10. API & Data Usage
Unauthorized automated access to the Platform, its data, or its services is strictly prohibited. This section outlines the restrictions on automated access and data extraction from Globi Explore.
Prohibited Activities
- Web Scraping: Using bots, crawlers, spiders, or any automated tools to extract data from the Platform, including but not limited to user profiles, listings, reviews, pricing information, or any other content.
- Automated Access: Accessing the Platform through automated means (scripts, bots, or third-party software) without prior written authorization from Globi Explore, Inc.
- Data Mining: Collecting, compiling, or storing Platform data for commercial purposes, competitive analysis, or data brokerage.
- API Abuse: If Globi Explore provides authorized API access, exceeding rate limits, circumventing access controls, or using API data in unauthorized ways.
- Database Extraction: Attempting to access, copy, or download any underlying database or data store of the Platform.
Authorized API Access
Globi Explore, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, provide authorized API access to approved partners and developers under separate API Terms of Service. Authorized API users must:
- Comply with all API rate limits and usage restrictions
- Use API data only for the purposes specified in their API agreement
- Not resell, redistribute, or sublicense API data
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect API credentials and data
- Attribute data to Globi Explore where required

Users may wish to share content from the Platform on external websites or social media. The following rules govern how Platform content may be shared externally.
Permitted Sharing
- Sharing your own booking confirmations, trip photos, and personal reviews on personal social media with natural attribution to Globi Explore
- Taking screenshots of your own profile, bookings, and itineraries for personal use
- Sharing links to public Platform pages (listings, profiles, blog posts)
- Sharing your own user-generated content that you originally posted on the Platform
Restricted Sharing
- Sharing screenshots of other users' private messages without their consent
- Sharing other users' personal information, photos, or profile details on external platforms without their consent
- Sharing Platform content in a manner that misrepresents Globi Explore or its services
- Using Platform screenshots or content in advertisements or commercial promotions without written permission
- Sharing internal Platform tools, admin interfaces, or non-public features
Globi Explore, Inc. reserves the right to request removal of shared content that violates these guidelines or harms the Platform's reputation. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
12. Trademark Usage Guidelines
The following guidelines govern how partners, service providers, and third parties may reference Globi Explore's brand and trademarks.
Permitted Trademark Uses
- Service providers may state that they are “Available on Globi Explore” or “Verified on Globi Explore” in their own marketing materials, provided the statement is truthful and accurate
- Press and media may use the Globi Explore name and logo in editorial content with proper attribution
- Partners with written authorization may use approved brand assets as specified in their partnership agreement
Prohibited Trademark Uses
- Using the Globi Explore name, logo, or brand elements in a way that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without written authorization
- Modifying, distorting, or altering the Globi Explore logo or brand assets in any way
- Using Globi Explore trademarks in domain names, social media handles, or app names without prior written consent
- Using Globi Explore brand elements in any context that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful to the brand
- Creating merchandise or products bearing Globi Explore trademarks without authorization
